Senior PMO ManagerJob Description
Location: Leeds or London
As a Senior PMO Manager you will be critical in ensuring the successful delivery of strategic programmes or overseeing the PMO activities for a portfolio of projects. You will work with closely with a Programme or Portfolio Manager and with other colleagues across Change Delivery, as well as a wide range of stakeholders and SMEs in different areas of the Bank.
You will play a crucial role in driving project success and contributing to the overall strategic goals of the organisation through the delivery of excellent PMO frameworks.
You will be required to hold colleagues at all levels to account for their part in delivery, and use data and analysis to back up any challenges you forsee or need to raise.
As a line manager within Change Delivery, you will coach and mentor your team, ensuring that they have development plans and are constantly seeking to build their skills.
Primary Oues and Accountabilities:
Strategic Planning &ernance
1. Work with the PPA leadership team to establish and maintain the PMO framework, methodologies and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all projects
2. Ensure all projects adhere to the agreed standards and frameworks through coaching and mentoring team members
3. Work with PPA, Finance and Portfolio Manager to support annual portfolio planning
Facilitate and support Projects
4. Actively monitorplex projects against time, cost and quality expectations,
5. Providing regular updates to senior managers and stakeholders which challenge and identifying areas of delivery risk
6. Lead and manage proportionate project controls including: RAIDs management, status reporting, decisions log, stakeholder management
7. Lead RAID processes, identifying risk themes and trends, and producing / interpreting risk MI
8. Manage the allocation of resources across projects, ensuring efficient utilisation and ensuring that a capacity plan is in place to address future project demands
9. Define and track key performance indications to measure project success and PMO effectiveness.
10. Lead project reporting toernance and other stakeholders
11. Define and manage appropriate stakeholder management approach, processes and artefacts; working closely withms and Engagement team
Finance
12. Ensure programme financial reporting adheres to agreed standards, monitor costs and benefit realisation, ensure accurate forecasting and identify options for addressing budget variances.
13. Co-ordinates with suppliers and / or themercial Delivery Team to manage costs and escalate issues when required.
Team management
14. Support alignment and collaboration across workstreams and wider team forward look of key project activities. Coach and upskill PMs, PMO and wider team in the project
15. Support continuous improvement through coordinating lessons learned reviews, identifying skills gaps etc
16. Lead and mentor the PMO team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
17. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the PMO team.
Minimum Criteria
18. Project Management Office experience - extensive experience as a PMO inplex portfolios/programmes using a range of different project management methodologies
19. Track record of establishing and managing PMO teams
20. Demonstrated ability to engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders and team members
21. Experience in risk management
22. Proven ability to analyse data and draw insights from it.
23. Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control and financial reporting.
Desirable Criteria
24. Experience of developing PMO frameworks, processes andernance structure
25. Relevant certifications such as P3O, PRINCE2, Agile certifications, Lean

Salary and Benefits Information
We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate.
This role offers a salary of:
26. Leeds, £59,520 - £66,960 per annum
27. London, £66,160 - £74,430 per annum
In addition, we also offer aprehensive benefits package as detailed below:
28. Currently a non-contributory, career average pension giving you a guaranteed retirement benefit of 1/80th of your annual salary for every year worked. There is the option to increase your pension (to 1/65th) or decrease (to 1/105th) in exchange for salary through our flexible benefits programme each year. The Bank has the discretion to vary standard accrual rates and dial up and dial down rates at any time and to withdraw dial up and dial down options at any time.
29. A discretionary performance award based on a current award pool.
30. An 8% benefits allowance with the option to take as salary or purchase a wide range of flexible benefits.
31. 26 days' annual leave with option to buy up to 12 additional days through flexible benefits.
