Overview
Compass Associates are proud to partner with a growing provider of Complex Care services to recruit for a Clinical Registered Manager. This key leadership position is based in Colchester, Essex, and will be responsible for overseeing high-acuity services for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and complex behavioural support needs in their own homes.
The services are designed for individuals with significant support requirements, often operating on intensive staffing models. You will play a critical role in delivering safe, person-centred care while also leading local governance, team development, and future service growth.
This is a visible, hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in frontline leadership and is ready to step into a high-impact management position with clear progression potential.
Location
This is a fully office-based role located in Colchester, with regular travel to services across Essex. Commutable from Chelmsford, Ipswich, Braintree, Southend, Basildon, Romford, Cambridge, and surrounding areas.
Base pay range
Role: Clinical CQC Registered Manager – RNLD / RMN / RGN
Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonus Scheme
Hours: Full Time, Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm
Location: Colchester, Essex – office-based with local travel to community services
Criteria
* Registered Nurse (RNLD, RMN or RGN) with valid NMC PIN
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager within CQC-regulated care services
* Solid understanding of Mental Health, Autism, PBS approaches and high-risk behaviours
Responsibilities Include
* Lead the delivery of safe, compliant and high-quality care across local supported living services
* Work closely with commissioners, internal teams and senior leadership to drive continuous improvement
* Oversee staff supervision, training, and development to promote service excellence
* Contribute to service expansion and the onboarding of new packages in collaboration with the Business Development Director
Salary and Benefits
* £60,000 – £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* Annual bonus scheme of up to £6,000
* Enhanced annual leave - 28 days plus the 8 bank holidays (34 total)
* Defined career progression pathway toward Regional or Divisional Director
Interview Process
* Introductory call with a member of the SLT
* In-person visit to meet the team and view the services
* Final panel interview focused on clinical and operational leadership
