Accounts / Audit Semi-Senior, Kingston upon Thames, £32,000 - 37,000 plus fantastic package including study support and hybrid working
Play a key role in delivering high-quality services to a diverse client portfolio, including SMEs, sole traders, partnerships, and larger corporates. This role offers a 60/40 split between accounts and audit work and includes the following responsibilities:
* Preparation of statutory, year-end, and rental accounts
* Bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and preparation of VAT returns using Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
* Management accounts preparation and financial reporting
* Assisting with audit fieldwork for a variety of clients
* Using CCH software to produce accounts and maintain records
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Collaborating closely with the wider team to meet deadlines and ensure compliance

About You
* AAT qualified and/or actively studying ACA/ACCA (with at least 30% current UK audit exposure)
* Experience in a UK accountancy practice is essential
* Solid knowledge of accounts preparation, VAT, and bookkeeping
* Confident using cloud-based software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and CCH
* Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
* Organised, motivated, and detail-oriented
