Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias

The Role
You will play a key part in keeping production running smoothly, using your electrical knowledge alongside mechanical skills to maintain and improve a variety of machinery on site.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Diagnosing and repairing breakdowns across different production equipment
*
Carrying out preventative maintenance to maximise uptime
*
Working to high engineering and safety standards
*
Supporting ongoing improvement projects
*
Ensuring compliance with company safety procedures and operational practices
*
Working shifts (5 days and 4 nights, Mon–Fri) including 1 in 4 Saturdays
What You’ll Need
*
At least 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing/production
*
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
*
Recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds Level 2+, ONC/HNC or equivalent)
*
17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred)
*
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
*
Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
*
Knowledge of safe systems of work (permits, RAMS)
