Our client, based in Somerset, is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a 6 month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is £24-26 umbrella based on experience. The role will involve a car and a recent DBS
The ideal candidate will have
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Providing all aspects of tenancy management services to clients (general needs) on a patch of 500 properties, assisting them with general queries
2. Conducting tenancy signs ups & mutual exchanges effectively, whilst ensuring that tenants are maintaining a safe & secure environment at home
3. Dealing with low to mid-level anti-social behaviour matters and taking the relevant action including the drafting of notices as well as serving of notices
4. Liaising with maintenance team to organise any repairs, carrying out estate inspections and reducing void turnaround times
5. Dealing with estate walk about and carrying out risk assessments on buildings
6. Signposting any rent queries to the income team
Experience required:
7. Experience required in any Tenancy Management capacity
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
8. Able to understand legality of serving notices
9. Able to turn around void properties quickly
10. Able to travel around a dispersed patch in Somerset
