Futures are working with a well-established and growing organisation seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead from the front. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys managing a team but is equally comfortable getting stuck in when required. You’ll play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement across maintenance operations. As Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a small team of engineers while actively contributing to maintenance activities on the ground. This is not a desk-based position—you’ll be visible on the shop floor, setting standards and leading by example. Roles & Responsibilities: Supervising and supporting a team of maintenance engineers/technicians Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across site equipment Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs Ensuring maintenance schedules are adhered to and optimised Driving improvements in reliability, efficiency, and safety Managing workload, priorities, and team performance Supporting training and development of team members Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting Ensing compliance with health & safety regulations The Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering environment Previous supervisory or team leadership experience (or ready to step up) A strong mechanical and/or electrical skillset A “lead by example” mindset—willing to be on the tools when needed Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Good communication and team management skills A continuous improvement mindset Click apply now if this sounds like you.
