We're looking for a Kitchen Manager/ Pit Master to join our growing team at Low and Slow Barbecue on Whiteladies Road. This is a Kitchen Manager role with no evening shifts, if you are enthusiastic about Barbecue food and have a positive attitude and strong work ethic then this is the job for you Experience in the events/street food scene is preferable, although not essential - however adaptability is a must.
We're a small but growing company with loads of opportunities for the right candidate to grow with us. Experience in kitchen management is essential and we will give complete training within the role itself.
Duties and responsibilities will include;
* Managing par and stock levels
* Delivering the perfect quality of slow, smoked barbecue food
* Smoker maintenance
* Adhere to and uphold high standards of cleaning
* Delivering the perfect cook for the counter service
* Preparing all items on our menu
* Working closely with the General Manager to achieve goals
* Cross training on the counter as well to understand the journey of the product
