Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, managing accounts, and maintaining efficient systems of work. This position requires proficiency in various software applications and a strong ability to communicate effectively. J&M Roofing is a family run business, our office environment is friendly and professional

Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a tidy and efficient workspace.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and promptly.
* Utilise QuickBooks for financial record-keeping and invoicing.
* Maintain organised filing systems, both physical and digital.
* Assist with clerical duties such as typing documents, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
* Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Support team members with administrative tasks as required.
* Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for staff members.
* Ensure all office supplies are stocked and ordered when necessary.
* Help manage rental properties
* Ready to start week commencing 15 September 2025

Skills

* Proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Suite is essential.
* Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Competent in using various office equipment and software applications.
* Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
