OVERALL PURPOSE:
To ensure raw materials are received into the business correctly, processed and distributed into the appropriate work centre when required.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Picking, cutting and preparing of material (e.g. billets) for use on machine tools and delivering them to the appropriate work stations,
2. Unloading and loading of vehicles using Forklift Truck / Pallet Stacker,
3. Use of various lifting aids,
4. Operation of automatic and manual saws (full training given),
5. Use of calibrated measuring equipment,
6. Paperwork check and visual inspection of incoming material in accordance with Company procedures,
7. Book in materials onto SAP and allocate to required location on the system,
8. Move raw material into relevant racking locations,
9. Issuing tooling and transacting in SAP System,
10. Ensuring high standards of housekeeping are maintained...
