Hours: 36 hours per week, permanent, including Saturdays on rota basis.
Salary: £27,000 per annum.

Job Description
We are recruiting for a Customer Relationship Consultant to engage with customers, provide information on our savings products and services, conduct "My Review" appointments, and help customers review their circumstances and financial goals.
Responsibilities
* Engage, understand and identify customer needs by asking great questions, listening to customers' specific circumstances, and tailoring relevant solutions while ensuring the right outcome for the customer and the society.
* Act as the first point of contact for customers in branch with enthusiasm and a desire to help.
* Conduct "My Review" customer appointments face‑to‑face, virtually, or by telephone.
* Proactively contact customers over the phone to identify and discuss their needs.
* Educate customers on a range of products and services as well as the different communication channels they can use to engage with us directly.
* Use internal systems to ensure customer records are accurately maintained and updated, and ensure vulnerable customers are identified and supported appropriately.
* Adhere to and understand the appropriate policies, standards, controls and limits of authority applicable to your role, supported by training, coaching and appropriate communication.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Previous experience interacting with customers, with constructive preference for banking or building society experience.
* Experience in a contact‑centre environment valuable.
* Background in retail, food & beverage, guest services or health/care sector acceptable.
* Passion for delivering exceptional service and going above and beyond.
* Enjoyment of meeting new people and engaging in purposeful conversation.
* Ability to work well alongside others with a "one‑team" mindset.
* Ability to react fast during busy periods, manage a wide variety of customers and maintain excellent time management.
* Desire and ability to grow, adapt and change with business needs and priorities.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to influence different audiences using suitable channels for achieving clear outcomes.
* Openness to a broad range of activities, even if outside standard expectations.
