As a Care Team Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to residents with a variety of needs. This role offers the chance to combine hands-on care with leadership responsibilities, ensuring care standards remain consistently high.
Day to Day responsibilities will include:
Overseeing and managing the safe administration of medication
Conducting and updating care plan reviews to reflect individual needs
Coordinating and managing staff rotas to ensure adequate shift coverage
Ensuring compliance with internal policies, CQC fundamental standards, and relevant legislation
Monitoring and supporting the performance and development of care team members
Identifying and reporting any concerns regarding care standards, including potential safeguarding issues
Escalating any serious concerns or incidents to the Deputy Manager in line with reporting procedures
Requirements To succeed as a Care Team Leader, youll need to demonstrate the following qualities and skills:
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Strong negotiation and influencing abilities to support both residents and team members
Flexibility and dependability to meet the needs of the service
Previous experience in a care setting, ideally within a home care environment
A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or a willingness to work towards it)
