Litigation Solicitor – York An established Legal 500 firm is seeking a Litigation Solicitor to focus on contentious trust and probate matters. The role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in a specialist team. You will be dealing with a broad range of high-quality and complex cases, including (but not limited to): Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 Challenges to the validity of Wills (capacity, undue influence, lack of knowledge and approval) Disputes concerning the proper administration of estates Interpretation and construction disputes relating to Wills (including rectification) Beneficial and resulting trust matters Claims under TOLATA 1996 Undue influence and real estate fraud issues Claims based on proprietary estoppel Property and land disputes Mediations Professional negligence claims arising from defective estate planning The team is recognised for its expertise in contentious trust and probate work and operates alongside well-established private client, property and agricultural departments.
