Offer description

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our team within the Dorset Home Improvement Service Centre, based in Blandford Forum. In this role, you will carry out administration duties to support Minor & Major adaptations under Dorset Council grants, and handle calls from service users, family members, and healthcare professionals to answer their queries. You will work as part of an engaged and motivated team, in a company committed to reward and recognition for a job well done. The role involves collaboration with Dorset Council services and external bodies to ensure a seamless service, in accordance with Millbrook's policies and procedures.

This is a full-time position, but part-time hours from 9am-3pm, 5 days a week (pro-rata), would be considered for the right candidate.


Responsibilities:

1. Assist and manage incoming calls, answering queries professionally and promptly.
2. Oversee minor adaptation orders from Occupational Therapists, processing them through to completion.
3. Coordinate with local housing associations, landlords, and contractors to facilitate work where required.
4. Create relevant documents for the Major Adaptation Team.
5. Provide general administration support for daily activities.


Requirements:

* Strong experience in a busy, fast-paced office environment.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Previous administration and diary management experience.
* Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
* Professional and confident communication skills, both on the telephone and via email.
* Proficient IT skills with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
* Previous customer service experience via telephone.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Salary of £25,468.11 per year.
* 40 hours per week, or part-time hours from 9am-3pm, 5 days a week (pro-rata).
