Assistant Site Manager - High-End Fit-Out (Hospitality)

Essential Requirements:
* SSSTS, First Aid at Work, PASMA, IPAF
* Fluent English
* Good communicator
* Basic computer literacy, including Outlook (emails, folder navigation, printing, scanning)
* Must be based within a 45-minute commute of Liverpool Street Station
Desirable Requirements:
* SMSTS
* Knowledge of any additional European language

Job Description:
This is a contract role for the duration of the project, with potential for further opportunities upon completion.
We seek a Junior Site Manager to assist the Site Manager on a high-end fit-out project in central London, starting November 2024. The role is approximately 10 months, until autumn 2025.
Responsibilities include assisting in managing site labour, activities, health and safety, overseeing trade contractors, and ensuring work progresses according to plans, quality standards, and timelines. Weekend and out-of-hours work may be required.
The Assistant Site Manager reports to the Site Manager.
Experience:
Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience managing fit-out and refurbishment projects, particularly within the hospitality sector, such as hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs, or offices. They should understand building processes and be capable of hands-on involvement when needed. Good communication skills and the ability to manage contractors positively are essential.
