We are recruiting flexible Endoscopy Practitioners to join our bank team as we expand across the UK.
About the Role
The role involves working under the supervision of the Endoscopy Nurse in Charge to provide excellent patient care.
You will be involved in the entire patient pathway—from pre-admission to procedure, recovery, and discharge. EPs support the safe and effective operation of the unit and assist with CQC and JAG GRS activities and accreditation.
We are looking for someone who can:
* Perform clinical tasks and contribute to training others
* Carry out site intravenous access for patients requesting sedation, if competent
* Ensure the endoscopy list runs smoothly and efficiently following CHEC Endoscopy SOPs and policies
* Prepare clinical areas daily
* Participate in CQC and JAG accreditation processes and ongoing competency training via the JETs framework
* Demonstrate a passion for patient care, with excellent communication skills
* Show attention to detail and eagerness to learn
* Possess good listening skills and logical thinking
* Work well within a team
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Registered practitioner with the NMC or HCPC
* At least 1 year of experience as a registered practitioner or equivalent in Endoscopy services
* Experience with JAG accreditation
* A passion for high-quality patient safety and care
* Education to degree level or equivalent experience
