We are working with a fantastic secondary school in Durham seeking a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support lessons across the school, with a particular focus on Maths at KS3 and KS4.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into the classroom, build teaching confidence, and develop the skills needed to progress into teacher training.
What Your Day Will Look Like
* Supervising classes when teachers are absent
* Delivering pre-prepared lessons to students
* Supporting pupils with KS3 and KS4 Maths work
* Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students stay on task
* Encouraging students to engage with their learning
You’ll gain valuable experience leading lessons, building classroom management skills, and developing confidence in teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
