QueenSquare Medical Practice is seeking an ICT Apprentice to assist with themanagement and maintenance of our critical IT systems, ensuring smoothoperations and business continuity. This is a fantastic opportunity to gainreal-world, hands-on, IT experience whilst completing your apprenticeship.
Main duties of the job
Supportday-to-day IT operations, including hardware, software, website design and upkeepand network issues.
Providesupport with business-critical systems alongside and in the absence of the ITLead.
Troubleshootand resolve IT issues promptly to minimise downtime.
Maintainup-to-date IT protocols and procedures and operational guides.
Participatein IT projects, system upgrades, and software implementations.
SupportIT security, data backups, and compliance measures.
Undertake relevant trainingand development as part of the apprenticeship

Qualifications
* - GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Grade C/4 or above
* - Evidence of ongoing personal development
* - Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
* - Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
* - Strong organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and multitask
* - Attention to detail and accuracy when inputting data
* - Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
* - Friendly and approachable
* - Reliable and punctual
* - Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
* - Good understanding of basic IT (hardware, software, networks)
* - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* - Eagerness to learn and develop practical IT skills
* - Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* - Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions
* - Reliable, responsible, and organised
* - Experience in healthcare IT systems
* - Knowledge of Microsoft 365, EMIS, or similar systems
