Job Title: Dorset – Social Work – Community Mental Health Team

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Qualified Adult Social Worker Community Mental Health Team based in Dorset Council for a compassionate Adult Social Worker to support adults with mental health issues, physical disabilities, and social difficulties. Responsibilities include assessing clients’ needs, developing care plans, and coordinating with professionals to ensure clients’ well-being and improved quality of life.
What will your responsibilities be?
1. Assess Client Needs: Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and social needs.
2. Develop Care Plans: Create and adjust individualized care plans.
3. Provide Support and Counselling: Offer emotional support, counselling, and guidance.
4. Coordinate Services: Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations.
5. Advocate for Clients: Ensure clients receive necessary services and support.
6. Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of client interactions and progress.
7. Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support in crisis situations.
8. Participate in Meetings: Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
9. Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work.
10. Licensure: SWE registration.
11. Experience: Previous experience working with adults in social work or related setting preferred.
12. Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Empathy, patience, and resilience in challenging situations.
13. Requirements: Social Work England registration, eligibility to work in the UK, qualification in Social Work at degree level, and post-qualified experience.
