About the Role
A new opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Technician to join our Technical Operations team at Whatley Quarry. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and consistency of our Concrete, Asphalt, and Quarry products.
You will be responsible for performing sampling, field testing, and specimen preparation in line with British Standards and company procedures. Working as part of a team with remote supervision, you'll be expected to maintain high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct sampling and testing of construction materials
* Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
* Follow company procedures and British Standards
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
* Support continuous improvement of product quality and technical services
Requirements
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to follow procedures precisely
* Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
