What you’ll be doing
* Performing IPC-level inspections of electronic assemblies
* Running tests & recording results across hardware, software, and firmware
* Using a wide range of test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, function generators, etc.)
* Fault finding & repair down to component level
* Keeping detailed records and ensuring compliance with company standards
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised assembly/test area
* Working closely with engineering teams to meet deadlines on key projects
What you’ll bring
* 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing/test environment
* Background in defence projects (preferred)
* BTEC in Electronics (ONC/HNC/HND) or equivalent
* Skilled in fault finding & repair (analogue + digital)
* Familiar with electronic/mechanical drawings & test specs
* Strong communicator, highly organised & self-motivated
* Hands-on with tools & test equipment, confident in problem-solving
* Must hold current UK Security Clearance (SC) or have held in the past
