That means that whilst we are based in Glenrothes, the posts are offered on the basis of a blended working arrangement, which can include a significant element of working from home. Over the 2 year term, the successful candidate will be supported in the completion of their logbook to demonstrate professional competencies in support of their application for Chartered Membership of the RTPI. The posts will allow you to work within different areas of the Planning Service providing a great opportunity to expand your range of experience. Postholders may be involved in areas like validation and processing of planning applications, policy development, and may also have the opportunity to gain experience of specialist areas such as built heritage, climate change, and enforcement. One of the posts will have a specific focus on dealing with minerals and energy developments. The Person We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals with a positive attitude to customer care; applicants must be able to demonstrate a level of competence and knowledge of planning and experience commensurate with the post/grade applied for.
