We are currently seeking a part-time Accounts Admin Assistant to join our growing accountancy practice. You will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day client accountancy needs, ensuring accuracy in compliance, and providing excellent support to our clients..
Responsibilities will include:
* Incoming and outgoing e-mails and telephone calls with clients/colleagues in a timely and professional manner
* Data entry & handling Sales & Purchase invoices, receipts and incoming payments
* Basic bookkeeping activities working with Sales & Purchase ledger
* Recording & maintaining retention records
* Managing registrations with HMRC
* Liaising with clients and HMRC where required.
* Supporting the accountant with ad hoc tasks as the business grows.
About You:
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confident communicator, especially on the phone.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
* Previous experience in accountancy, bookkeeping, or administration is desirable but not essential (training will be provided).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
