Interim Financial Accountant - 3 Month Contract £300 - £350 per day (Outside IR35) Ashton Under Lyne, Manchester (4 days on-site, 1 WFH) We’re recruiting an Interim Financial Accountant to support a £100m turnover, PE-backed consumer products business through year-end and audit, alongside preparations for an upcoming merger. The team is going through change, so they need someone who can come in quickly and take ownership of key reporting and audit deliverables. The Role Lead/support the year-end close Prepare audit files and supporting schedules Manage audit queries and liaise with external auditors Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and up to date Support month-end where required Assist with reporting and analysis Requirements Strong year-end and audit experience Confident dealing directly with auditors Able to work independently and get up to speed quickly Power BI helpful, not essential Other Details Initial 3-month contract with potential extension due to upcoming merger activity Outside IR35 (subject to review) Right to work in the UK required Process Interviews this week, immediate start.
