Solution Architect
Inside IR35 | 6 Months | Brighton & Hove (Hybrid) | £595 - £637.50 per day.
I'm supporting a major client in Brighton & Hove who are kicking off a large data modernisation programme and are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong hands-on capability across AWS, Snowflake, and modern data engineering tooling.
This role suits someone who enjoys shaping end-to-end data solutions, working closely with delivery teams, and presenting into governance forums.
What You'll Be Working On
* Designing scalable data integration solutions across the AWS ecosystem (S3, Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, Step Functions, etc.)
* Leading architecture across a modern Snowflake data platform
* Applying dbt Core for modular, version-controlled data transformation
* Designing and implementing CDC pipelines (e.g., Qlik Replicate)
* Building AWS-hosted APIs and supporting secure cloud-to-on-prem connectivity
* Working with cloud and mainframe database technologies
* Presenting architecture decisions and designs into governance boards
* Collaborating within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) delivery team
What We're Looking For
* Deep hands-on experience across AWS data services
* Strong Snowflake expertise
* Real-world experience with dbt Core
* Strong understanding of CDC tooling (preferably Qlik Replicate)
* Proven experience designing cloud-based APIs
* Knowledge of hybrid networking routes between AWS and on-prem
* Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Contract Details
* Start: Immediate
* Duration: 6 months
* Location: Hybrid - occasional travel to Brighton & Hove
* Rate: £595 - £637.50 per day (Inside IR35)
