Paragon are seeking a Finance Administrator/Officer to join the purchase to pay department on a 4 month FTC basis. Representing the client, the position is responsible for delivering first class service to our internal & external customers through efficient and effective processing of high-volume financial transactions.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Onsite
4 month FTC (potential for extension)
Your main duties would include:
* Process high volume transactions with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail via our Proactis system
* Process invoices matched to purchase orders or coded directly, accurately and in line with SLAs.
* Liaise with Parks and Central department to ensure invoices are process and queries resolve in a timely manner to ensure Suppliers are paid on time.
* Work as a team to deliver departmental Key Performance Indicators and targets.
* Build highly effective working relationships with other departments to maintain the highest level of service to our customers.
* Delivery of core tasks as per the service level agreement and standard task time.
* Adapt and respond to the continuous change needed to support the growing demands of the business and marketplace.
Skills and Attributes we are looking for
* Experience of invoice processing and data entry is essential
* Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail
* Experience of high-volume transactional process management
* Experience of working to strict financial controls and deadlines
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
* Enthusiastic about and committed to high quality and first-class customer service
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work in a trustworthy and confidential capacity
* Self-motivated with a positive, proactive, can-do attitude
* Resilient and able to manage change effectively
