About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our growing team and contribute in shaping the technical direction of our platform. In this role, you'll lead the development of critical features across our stack while mentoring engineers and establishing engineering best practices. You'll have the opportunity to make key architectural decisions and drive the technical vision for our product as we scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of complex features across our Next.js frontend and FastAPI backend
- Architect scalable solutions at the forefront of robotics, AI, and web development
- Manage and mentor a technical team, providing code reviews, technical guidance, and career development support
- Define and implement engineering standards, coding practices, and development workflows
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and delivery plans
- Make key technical decisions regarding system architecture, technology choices, and infrastructure strategy
- Drive technical initiatives from conception through delivery, ensuring quality and timely execution
- Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and deployment processes
- Participate in technical hiring and team growth activities
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of experience leading technical projects or managing development teams
- Deep expertise in React and Next.js with demonstrated ability to architect complex frontend applications
- Strong backend development experience with Python and FastAPI, including API design at scale
- Proven track record of making sound architectural decisions and technical trade-offs
- Experience establishing engineering best practices, code quality standards, and team workflows
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure as code
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern deployment strategies
- (Preferred) Background in robotics, machine learning infrastructure, or edge computing
