Our focus is on preventing disease through evidence-based, conservative dentistry while offering a wide range of private services, including routine check‑ups, restorative care (fillings, crowns, bridges), cosmetic treatments (veneers, teeth whitening), and specialist procedures such as dental implants, surgical extractions, and sedation.
Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Dental Nurse located in Felixstowe. The Dental Nurse will assist dentists and other clinicians during patient consultations and procedures. Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols, managing patient records, providing excellent chairside support, engaging patients to make them feel comfortable, and supporting the wider dental team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth practice operations.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in chairside assistance, instrument sterilisation, and maintaining treatment room cleanliness
* Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and adherence to health and safety standards
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members
* Organisational and record‑keeping skills to maintain accurate patient data
* Formal qualification in dental nursing (e.g., NVQ Level 3) and current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
* CPR certification and familiarity with sedation techniques (preferred but not required)
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new dental technologies and practices
