Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery used in woodworking and lamination. Duties
* Set, operate and monitor machinery such as laminating, foil slitting and saws.
* Set up machines using hand tools and tooling, adjusting parameters as necessary for different projects.
* Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on equipment to minimise downtime.
* Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, including loading, unloading, and organising components.
* Use basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks to ensure specifications are met.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area adhering to safety standards at all times.
Experience
* Proven experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments with a focus on machine operation or fabrication.
* Familiarity with woodworking and lamination techniques, and tooling is advantageous.
* Basic mechanical knowledge is essential.
* Ability to operate hand tools effectively and safely.
* Prior experience in materials handling, assembly work, or fabrication processes will be beneficial.

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
