Job Summary
The Learning and Development Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs within the organization. This position is responsible for assisting in curriculum development and instructional design, ensuring that training initiatives align with the company's goals for employee growth and performance enhancement. Duties
* Assist in the development and delivery of training programs using various learning technologies and methodologies.
* Support curriculum development efforts by applying principles of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).
* Facilitate employee orientation sessions to onboard new hires effectively.
* Collaborate with HR to manage talent development initiatives, including succession planning and performance management.
* Design engaging content for training materials utilizing tools such as Adobe Captivate and SharePoint.
* Conduct data collection and research to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
* Provide support in program management activities to ensure timely execution of learning initiatives.
* Participate in mentoring programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
* Deliver training sessions on various topics, utilizing strong public speaking and presentation skills.
* Maintain Learning Management System (LMS) records and assist with HRIS data management.
Requirements
* Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or adult education.
* Familiarity with learning technologies such as LMS platforms (e.g., Workday) and tools like Salesforce.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on technical writing for training materials.
* Experience in human resources management practices related to employee relations and evaluation processes.
* Background in change management principles to facilitate smooth transitions during training implementations.
* Classroom experience or prior teaching roles are preferred.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Knowledge of performance management systems and talent management strategies is advantageous.
