Job Title: CNC Operator
Location: Tewkesbury GL20
Pay Rate: Ranging from £14 - £21 Per hour (depending on experience)

gap personnel are recruiting for 2 CNCSetter-Operators to join their client who is a well reputable and well established Manufacturing company.
As a CNC Operator - Youwill run, set and operate multi-axis CNC machines with Mazatrol (Smooth) and Fanuc controls. You will be responsible for setting, initial prove-out and running machines to produce components to drawing. You will also be working on technical products with tight tolerances and strict quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Produce components according to provided engineering drawings by setting up and operating multi-axis machining centers.
* Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, including standards, geometric tolerances, and surface finish specifications.
* Perform in-process inspections of machined parts at various stages to ensure accuracy.
* Prepare and organize necessary materials and tooling based on the drawing requirements.
* Carry out quality checks on completed work to maintain standards.
* Collaborate closely with management and production engineers to optimize machine tool efficiency and workflow.
Skills and Experience required
* Experience in using Mazatrol control system (Smooth preferred) and/or Fanuc systems.
* Experience using multi spindle or sliding head machine tools (Mazak or Star preferred).
* Manufacturing experience within a precision environment.
* Good attention to detail.
* Able to work to relevant H&S standards.
Working Hours & Pay Rate
Monday to Thursday - 08:00 - 17:00
Fridays - 08:00 - 13:00
Basic Rate ranging from - £14 - £21 per hour (depending on experience)
Successful candidates will have experience working in similar role, must speak good english and be willing and able to conduct a practical test on site.
