JOB TITLE: Accounts Administrator


COMPANY: Engineering


CONTRACT: Permanent


HOURS: Monday to Thursday 7:30am- 4pm and Fridays 7:30am - 12:30pm


START: ASAP


SALARY: £25,000 - £27,000


LOCATION: Hurn

ABOUT THE ROLE:


This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone beginning their finance journey, wanting to study an accounting qualification, upskill and grow within a company.


This position plays a key part in supporting a small, close‑knit finance team, providing essential administrative assistance across day‑to‑day accounts activity. Working in a busy and fast‑paced environment, you'll help ensure the smooth running of processes.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Assisting the completion of Accounts Receivable

* Assisting the completion of Accounts Payable

* Assist with Bookkeeping

* Assisting with Contractor Payroll

* Preparation of Reporting

* HR and general company administration at busy times




ESSENTIAL SKILLS:



* Minimum 1 year experience working within accounts / finance department

* Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Must be highly organised with a can-do attitude

* Ability to work independently and in face paced environment

* Confident in phone communication with customers and suppliers
