Overview
Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store while prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse and replenishing shelves. Often, you run a full store operation on your own overnight, being responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store. * Ensure high standards come morning so the store is ready to serve customers.
Qualifications / Skills
* People management is a big part of the role, managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
* Comfortable with nightshift working and adaptable to the physical and mental impact of these shift patterns; understands the importance of providing a safe and healthy environment for the team.
* Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
* Resilience to deal with the mental and physical demands of working nights.
* Provides brilliant customer service and coaches a team to do the same.
* Has previous experience delivering and monitoring KPI's or other performance indicators.
* Can manage disciplinaries, performance issues or other employee relations issues.
* Leads operations and is comfortable doing this alone in the absence of more senior management.
* Demonstrates inclusivity in daily work and actions.
* Experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with motivation, performance, and smooth operations.
* Operational leadership skills; takes responsibility for store operations in the absence of more senior managers.
* Demonstrates success in meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction, or colleague engagement).
* Has managed employee relations issues, including performance and absence management.
Desirable / Benefits
* Nightshift specifics: Our nightshift managers work full-time hours over 4 nights, with a £4,500 premium on top of base salary. Nightshifts typically run from 22:00 until 08:00.
