Reference: 26e39636 Job Purpose I am looking for a female Personal Assistant to support me in my home and in the community. I have been diagnosed with chronic health conditions which affect my mobility. I also have autism and anxiety which affect my confidence. I live with my 17 year old son, who has additional needs. Ideally you will help me with planning, shopping for and preparing healthy meals. I require some help to keep my home clean and tidy and to organise and keep on top of finances and paperwork. I sometimes need prompting with personal care and may require assistance with this on occasions. Due to my health conditions, I sometimes find it hard to meet my physical health goals and would like support to do this. I would like help accessing the community and would love to find some groups of people with similar conditions to me. I also enjoy arts and crafts. Location: Blofield, NR13 Details: · Meal planning and preparation. · Prompting and support with personal care. · Support with maintaining physical health goals. · Support to access the community and local groups. · Some cleaning and tidying. · Support with organising the home. · Pushing my manual wheelchair when I need to use it. Desirable: · Full clean driving licence Summary Terms and Conditions - The rate of pay for this position is £13 per hour. - Hours and times of work as follows: 6 hours per week ideally worked over 2 or 3 days (days and times to be discussed at interview). - The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks. - Access to free Care Skills training for employer workers. - If this job requires; Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling you will be required undertake annual training. - You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role. The post is subject to the following: - A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. - Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer. - Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
