. The business is rapidly expanding its finance function and is seeking a
FP&A Lead
— a brand-new role — to sit across all
workstreams
, provide high-quality insight and analysis, and drive action across the finance teams.
This is a commercially focused, high-impact finance role, working across multiple workstreams and teams. You'll act as the
right-hand to the Head of Finance Business Partnering
, consolidating data, generating insights, and influencing decisions across the wider finance function.
About the Role
• Lead consolidation, analysis, and interpretation of financial and operational data across all workstreams, turning numbers into actionable insight.
• Work across multiple Lead Finance Business Partner teams, driving improvements, highlighting risks, and identifying opportunities.
• Develop and deliver clear internal reporting and presentations to support strategic and operational decision-making at senior levels, including preparation of board packs and investor reporting.
• Drive forecasting, month-end reporting, and full-year forecasts, embedding robust processes and tools (including Anaplan, PowerBI, SAP).
• Deputise for the Head of Finance Business Partnering, supporting leadership, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, governance, and shareholder reporting requirements, maintaining data integrity and transparency.
• Continuously improve reporting, analysis, and tools to increase efficiency and impact across the finance function.
About You
We're looking for a commercially astute finance professional with a strong track record of business partnering:
• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with proven experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering within complex organisations.
• Experienced in providing insight and action-focused analysis across multiple teams or workstreams.
• Strong technical skills in financial modelling, analysis, and management reporting.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills, able to distil complex data into actionable insight for diverse audiences.
• Proactive, agile, and driven, with the ability to lead cross-workstream collaboration and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, assurance, and compliance.
• Experience with tools such as Excel, PowerBI, and Anaplan is highly desirable.
