Job Overview:
We are recruiting a Manufacturing Operator (Level 1) to join our growing manufacturing team. This role provides essential support to on-site manufacturing operations, ensuring daily production requirements.This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to develop a career in manufacturing within a regulated, fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided, and the role offers opportunities to build skills across multiple work areas, enabling flexibility during shift operations.Location: Paisley - 102 Fountain Crescent, Inchinnan Business Park (On-site)Daily Rate: £ + 25% shift allowance (PAYE basic)Contract Length: 6 MonthsKey Responsibilities
1. Support daily manufacturing activities to ensure production targets and schedule attainment are achieved
2. Manufacture cell culture media and reagents in line with approved procedures
3. Operate manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely
4. Follow GMP, quality, and safety standards at all times.
5. Accuratelyplete production and quality documentation
6. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including graded and non-graded environments
7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team-based problem-solving
8. Support a strong culture of customer focus, quality, andpliance
Key Requirements
9. National 5 or higher in Standard Grade Maths and English
10. Relevant manufacturing or operational work experience is considered as a suitable alternative.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
12. Willingness to learn and develop new skills across different work streams
13. Strong attention to detail andmitment to quality
14. Positive attitude with a passion for manufacturing or life sciences
15. Desire to continuously improve and actively engage in team initiatives
