A welcoming primary school in Gosford Green, Coventry (CV1) is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a young boy in Year 1 with Autism, speech and language needs, and challenging behaviour. The Role: This is a full-time, 1:1 position supporting the pupil across the school day. Responsibilities include: Providing 1:1 support during lessons and throughout the school day. Adapting whole-class learning content to meet the individual learning needs of the pupil. Supporting the pupil with behaviour regulation inside the classroom. Providing calm, supervised time away from the classroom when the pupil becomes overstimulated. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure consistent, personalised support. Helping deliver learning in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.What We're Looking For: A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. Previous experience working within a primary classroom setting. A sound understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
