This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or lecturer to take a leading role in shaping high-quality Animal Care provision and inspiring the next generation of animal professionals.
As Lead Animal Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging theory and practical lessons, oversee the animal care facilities, and coordinate a small team of staff. You'll work closely with the Animal Care Manager and other colleagues to ensure excellent welfare standards for the animals and outstanding educational experiences for students.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, from teaching animal handling and welfare, to organising work placements, trips, and industry partnerships that bring the subject to life.
