Job Overview
We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our established Scottish Power Team, providing expert operational support across a multi-site cleaning contract. This role is central to ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting an effective operational delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise closely with local clients to maintain strong working relationships
* Supervise, support and manage cleaning staff, including recruitment, training and performance reviews
* Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedural standards
* Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard in line with company policies
* Monitor attendance, productivity and work quality across sites
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance and high service delivery
* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH
* Respond to and resolve customer complaints promptly
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Proven experience in a cleaning or facilities management role
* Experience working within the FM/services industry and multi-site operations
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and Health & Safety regulations
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Strong customer focus with excellent verbal and good written communication
* Self‑motivated with strong organisational and time‑management skills
* Full UK driving licence (travel required)
