A fantastic opportunity to join an established in-house fabrication and installation team, contributing to a growing workload and playing a key role in the erection and installation of steel structures across the UK.

The Role
As a Steel Erector within the AmcoGiffen Fabrication team, you will play a vital role in the safe and efficient installation of steel structures on sites across the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Erecting and installing steelwork for bridges, structures, and mechanical assemblies
* Working from detailed drawings and installation plans
* Ensuring all site resources—labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors—are effectively coordinated
* Supporting site supervision to maintain safe systems of work and high-quality installation standards
* Carrying out bridge repairs, new bridge installations, and mechanical steelwork installations
* Working collaboratively with fabrication teams to ensure seamless delivery from workshop to site
This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring national travel and occasional night or weekend work.
Requirements
* Proven experience in steel erection or steel fabrication
* Experience installing steelwork and steel structures on site
* A recognised trade qualification in steel erection or fabrication
* CSCS Site Manager / Site Supervisor card
* PTS (Personal Track Safety)
* Experience working on railway structures
* Full UK driving License
