The Growth Company's (GC) Education and Skills Financial Services team has an exciting new opportunity for an Insurance expert to join our established apprenticeship delivery team.
This role is ideally suited to someone who has worked in the Insurance Industry and is looking for a new challenge, coaching and mentoring the next generation of insurance professionals. We have the expertise to develop your coaching and mentoring skills, enabling you to support apprentices as they embark on and progress in their insurance careers across a wide range of employers.
The key elements of the role are to support apprentices in developing their Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) linked to their work-related activities, and to provide guidance towards professional qualifications such as the Certificate in Insurance and the Diploma in Insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Account manage a learner caseload in line with our business KPIs, and support and facilitate progression while securing repeat business.
* Plan and design face-to-face and blended digital sequential curriculum to promote the attainment of retainable knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
* Mark and provide feedback on students' work. Provide structured actions for learners to undertake in order to complete their programme.
* Accurately track KSB progress of all learners and effectively risk-band their timely progress and achievement against a set of KPI measures.
* Undertake and log industrial and pedagogical continuing professional development.
* Ensure risk assessments are in place and reviewed annually to keep learners safe.
* Support the team's continual professional attainment and development by leading and participating in a range of internal quality assurance activities.
About You:
* Support in creating and conceptualising learning materials to develop a learner's knowledge and skills of the industry.
* Have the ability to plan and organise workload effectively.
* You are motivating and inspiring, with experience in an insurance role, and able to share real-life examples of how the Insurance Industry works.
* Ability to use a variety of digital systems and eLearning platforms to direct and support learners.
Skills Required:
* Minimum 3 years' industry experience is essential.
* Experience of coaching and mentoring in a past or present role.
* Ability to use a variety of digital systems and eLearning platforms to direct and support learners.
* Awareness of teaching and learning quality standards, especially OFSTED, is desirable.
* Well-developed IT skills, including an understanding of computerised management information systems, spreadsheets, diary management, and email.
* Up-to-date knowledge of specialist subject areas and/or professional qualifications as appropriate. Cert CII/ DIP CII qualification desirable although not essential.
* IQA qualification desirable although not essential.
