Wrexham Community & Culture Trust (WCCT) are looking for a Project Co‑ordinator to support the development of a successful Wrexham City of Culture 2029 bid. The bidding process will take place throughout 2026, with key milestones including a formal submission in summer, a panel visit to Wrexham in autumn, and the final announcement in winter. The postholder will work with the Bid Director and Bid Coordinator, Local Authority colleagues, the Board of Trustees and other partners to support the application process and position Wrexham as a credible contender for the title.
The postholder will assist in coordinating and developing Wrexham’s bid for City of Culture 2029, including the delivery of an inspiring and transformational creative programme and the establishment of a lasting legacy beyond 2029. The postholder will provide project co‑ordination, and planning, marketing and evaluation support to strengthen the 2029 bid and demonstrate the positive impact of WCCT on the cultural eco‑system in Wrexham.
You will also support the Bid Director with administration and the identification, communication and completion of documentation to access funding streams and provide administrative assistance to co‑ordinate and support WCCT meetings and provide support to the Board of Trustees with developing good governance.

* Be a competent multi-tasker, used to working on multiple work streams
The successful candidate will remain as a WCBC employee for the duration of the secondment and will retain their existing employment terms and conditions.
