Overview
Are you an experienced building services maintenance engineer with strong mechanical maintenance competencies? We are working with an industry leading FM service provider actively hiring for a mechanical maintenance engineer for a flagship building in London.
Salary and benefits
* Up to GBP44,000 Per Annum
* Mon to Fri
* 25 days holiday entitlement + 8 days bank holiday
Duties
* Planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance of on-site mechanical plant and plumbing systems
* AHUs: fault finding and strip downs
* FCUs: fault finding and strip downs
* Pumps: bearings, mechanical seals and fault finding
* Maintenance/routine checks on sprinkler, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
* Water treatment (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.)
* Chilled and hot water systems
* Plumbing maintenance
* Generators: visual inspections and fault finding
* Pressurisation units
* Calorifiers
* Heat exchangers
* Replacing copper/lead pipes
* BMS operation
Requirements
* Mechanically qualified to City and Guilds Level 2 or NVQ (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years of building services maintenance experience in commercial office environments
* Physically fit: able to navigate a high-rise building
* Client facing: able to work closely with facility manager for the end client
