3B Data Security (part of UBDS Group) is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Penetration Tester to deliver exceptional service and contribute to the organization’s expansion.
Applicants must hold a CHECK Team Leader (CTL) qualification in infrastructure and a Chartered or Principal Cyber Security Professional (CSP) title in Security Testing. Dual badges for infrastructure and application will be remunerated accordingly.
As an integral member of the team, you will collaborate with senior management to maintain CHECK Green status and lead CHECK engagements, directing the team to provide high‑quality service to our clients.
In addition to CHECK work, you will perform commercial engagements across infrastructure and application testing (web and mobile), social engineering, and Red Team exercises, with opportunities to develop future services and grow the team and business unit.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead penetration testing engagements, including complex CHECK projects and ITHCs, and large client projects.
* Collaborate with senior management to maintain CHECK Green status.
* Produce high‑quality reports, translating complex technical data into actionable insights for customers.
* Mentor and coach junior team members to foster career development.
* Build and maintain client relationships, providing timely updates on engagement progress and findings.
* Act as a subject‑matter expert, helping clients understand their security posture and the value of 3B Data Security.
* Support technical presales activities and assist in scoping new engagements.
* Identify business‑development opportunities and contribute to their implementation.
Requirements
* Required: CTL qualification in Infrastructure.
* Bonus: CTL qualification in Applications.
* Chartered or Principal CSP.
* Solid background in penetration testing with senior‑level experience.
* UK security clearance (mandatory).
* Proven experience leading a team to high‑quality outcomes.
* Passion for penetration testing and proactive learning.
* Excellent communication and customer‑focused skills.
* Self‑motivated and capable of working autonomously.
* Own transport and ability to travel on short notice.
