South Ayrshire Community Transport are looking for Passenger Assistant for the Ayr area. The 20 Hour position will be Monday to Friday in the Mornings and Evenings. Full training will be provided.
You will be responsible for:
• The care of supervision of Children and Young People with additional support requirements, while’s travelling to and from school
• Ensuring that each child safely boards the vehicle and is secured before travelling.
• Working with the Driver of the vehicle to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers
Requirements:
• Outgoing personality who enjoys working with children/young adults
• Current PVG scheme membership (Disclosure) or willingness to have a check undertaken.
Salary:
• Real living wage paid four weeklies in arrears (currently £12.60hr) plus pro rata holidays
