About Edifai
Edifai designs and delivers hands‑on AI education programmes that help teams apply generative AI in practical ways. We work with clients across many sectors, with a particular focus on agencies and software teams. Our clients come to us for real capability building, not theory and not outsourcing. We create live, cohort‑based learning experiences that build confidence with tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, and more.
We are a small but growing team and we are looking for a Learning Designer to own the design and evolution of our training programmes. This is a role for someone who lives and breathes AI, uses it daily across their own workflow, and can translate that fluency into world‑class learning experiences for our clients.
The Role
As a Learning Designer, you will own our training programmes end to end. You will build new programmes, keep existing ones sharp as the AI landscape shifts, and make sure everything we deliver is grounded in the latest tools and the realities of how our clients actually work.
You will design programmes that work across the full organisational stack: leadership, managers, functional teams, and technical teams. That means you can speak each audience’s language and tailor content accordingly. For our agency clients, that might be creative directors, planners, and account leads. For our software clients, that might be product managers, engineers, and design teams. You build use cases, role plays, examples, case studies, news stories, and frameworks that make the learning stick for the people in the room.
You will be designing courses about how to use AI tools, while using those exact tools to design the courses themselves. We expect AI to be your default mode of working, not a side experiment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Design and Maintenance
* Build new training programmes from scratch across our core AI tool suite (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini)
* Design programmes that flex across audiences: leadership, managers, functional teams, and technical teams
* Tailor content to sector context, with particular fluency in how agencies and software teams operate
* Keep existing programmes current as models, features, and best practices evolve
* Define learning outcomes, programme structures, and progression frameworks
* Produce supporting assets including slide decks, activity grids, prompt libraries, role plays, case studies, and facilitator guides
2. Hands‑On Learning Experiences
* Design live, synchronous learning that is fun, interactive, and built around learning by doing
* Apply solid adult learning principles so sessions are practical, applicable, and stick beyond the room
* Develop use cases, role plays, examples, news stories, and frameworks that anchor concepts in real work
* Create learning environments where participants leave with confidence, not just notes
3. AI‑First Production
* Use Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini as your daily design and production environment
* Build custom AI tools, agents, or workflows that accelerate how we design and deliver content
* Stay on top of new model releases, features, and emerging use cases across sectors
* Bring fresh AI disruption stories and examples into the curriculum on an ongoing basis
4. Client and Commercial Input
* Join client scoping calls with the commercial team to shape programme briefs
* Join client content briefing calls to gather feedback and incorporate it into programme design
* Join client review calls to capture reactions, refine content, and iterate based on real‑time input
* Translate client needs into clear programme outlines and learning pathways
* Work closely with the delivery team on programme structure and learner experience
5. Managing External Designers
* Brief and manage freelance designers and contractors as workload requires
* Maintain quality, consistency, and house standards across all outsourced work
* Build a trusted bench of external talent we can scale up and down with
6. Evaluation and Iteration
* Analyse learner feedback, NPS data, and post‑programme surveys to identify what's landing and what needs work
* Work with the delivery team to maintain a continuous feedback loop, capturing what's working in live sessions and feeding insights back into programme design
* Use data and client input to iterate on programme content between programmes
* Contribute to how we measure learning impact and ROI for clients
Who You Are
* A power user of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) with daily hands‑on experience
* Strong grounding in adult learning principles and how to apply them in live, synchronous environments
* Skilled at making learning fun, interactive, and hands‑on so it actually sticks
* Comfortable designing for and speaking to different audiences: leadership, managers, functional teams, and technical teams
* Familiar with how agencies and/or software teams work day to day, and able to build content that lands with them
* Mid‑level (5+ years of relevant experience), though we hire on capability over CV
* Open background: traditional L&D, edtech, content design, consulting, or non‑traditional routes are all welcome if your AI fluency is strong
* Practical and systematic in how you build and organise content
* Confident in front of clients and comfortable contributing to commercial conversations
* Bonus: you have built your own AI tools, agents, or automations to power your work
* Entrepreneurial, learner‑focused, and happy rolling your sleeves up in a small fast‑moving team
* Comfortable working in tools like PowerPoint, Google Slides, Notion, and project management platforms like ClickUp
* Experience with authoring or content design tools is a plus but not essential
