Manufacturing Engineering Technician
Shift: 1st and 2nd shifts
Pay: $25-26/hr
As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, the Engineering Technician will provide direct technical support to the Production Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams within daily business operations.
1. Act as an accountable technical team member for process yield performance in a limited production area.
2. Provide hands-on technical support to operations for manufacturing issues within a clean-room environment.
3. Support and facilitate productivity and throughput improvement projects to achieve target process run rates.
4. Perform hands-on failure analysis and investigations of process nonconformities.
5. Report findings to the production line team with clear, thorough, and specific documented feedback.
6. Collaborate with engineering team resources to develop and implement process improvement projects.
7. Design, develop, and fabricate simple manufacturing tools, fixtures, and devices.
8. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and other team members for engineering projects.
9. Support change-management processes, including validation documentation, process instructions, engineering studies, and technical writing.
Qualifications
* Associate's Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
* At least 3 years of experience in a technical, hands-on problem-solving role in a highly regulated environment, such as medical devices
* Hands-on skills with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hardware troubleshooting
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
* Experience with Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving tools
* Basic data analysis and reporting skills
* Proficiency with MS Office applications
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities daily.
