Are you the right person for the job?
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a commercial or construction environment
Strong knowledge of procurement, contract administration, tender management, and frameworks
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work collaboratively within project and operational teams
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in commercial reporting and financial monitoring
What will your role look like?
Work within the commercial team to deliver program objectives and support colleagues to achieve targets
Develop and maintain successful relationships with clients and key supply chain partners
Contribute to procurement and contract strategies, including sourcing, tender compilation, and issuing
Administer contract amendments, variations, and final accounts to achieve optimal outcomes
Provide commercial advice and guidance across the business
Monitor budgets, cash flow, and operating costs to ensure financial targets are met
Visit sites, arrange meetings, and brief project teams to ensure sufficient commercial support
Promote continuous improvement, best practices, and integration across the client base
Attend internal and external commercial review meetings, presenting reports to directors
Resolve contractual and commercial issues, supporting operational teams to achieve profit improvement plans
