Hello, I’m Tracy, the Nursery Manager at Main Street.
With 28 years of experience working with children of various ages across different settings, I’m proud to lead a long-serving, close-knit team. Together, we have created a very homely and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Our gardens are designed to cater to all ages, featuring flower beds, a vegetable patch, and a real shop area—offering hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity. Inside, our cosy nursery fosters a warm, home-like atmosphere, with special spaces where siblings and friends can see each other throughout the day.

About the job:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our established team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery.
You may be in a customer-facing role, welcoming parents and children, or liaising with nursery and head office staff, depending on the day.
Due to the varied nature of the role, you must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly, as we use a bespoke nursery management system.
About you:
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of IT systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
* Strong organisational skills
* Flexible
* Experience in financial administration, including invoicing, credit control, and managing petty cash
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures
* Excellent communication skills
