As our BioFarm Manager, you will be at the heart of customer support and technical excellence, ensuring the performance of our feed solutions while strengthening the connection between BioMar’s commercial, R&D, and operational teams. Salary up to £55k, dependent on experience.
Make a difference in sustainable aquaculture
In this role, you will lead the BioFarm function, driving continuous improvement and aligning technical service with customer needs and BioMar’s strategy. You will be responsible for feed performance insights, team development, data reporting, and collaboration across departments. With a mix of on-site farm visits, technical oversight, and internal coordination, you’ll deliver actionable insights that elevate our service quality and product innovation.
1. Lead and manage BioFarm operations, ensuring consistent high-quality customer support and technical delivery
2. Oversee feed trials and performance analysis, ensuring scientific integrity and commercial relevance
3. Develop, coach, and inspire the BioFarm team to deliver results for key accounts
4. Build strong relationships with farm managers and stakeholders through regular site engagement
5. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and quality teams to integrate technical insights into business growth

To succeed in this role, you’ll combine technical expertise in aquaculture with strong leadership and customer-facing skills. You are passionate about improving fish performance and thrive on helping others succeed. You bring analytical thinking, initiative, and the ability to translate complex data into clear outcomes.
6. Graduate or postgraduate degree in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, or related field - or relevant equivalent experience
7. Strong technical experience in aquaculture, ideally involving feed performance, biological data, or farm trials
8. Experience leading teams and building cross-functional relationships
9. Proven ability to analyse data and communicate technical results to a wide audience
10. Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility to travel regularly across Scotland
