About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Electrician to join a facilities team responsible for keeping busy sites running smoothly. The role is a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical repairs, covering a range of building services and general electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine EICR tests across domestic properties
* Respond quickly to reactive maintenance tasks and electrical faults
* Diagnose and repair issues on lighting, power, distribution boards, motors, and controls
* Support with minor installation, upgrades and small works when required
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards
* Keep clear and accurate documentation of maintenance and repairs
* Work with site teams, contractors and other engineers to maintain safe operation of the building
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
* 18th Edition
* 2391 Test & inspection
* Experience in facilities maintenance, commercial, or building services environments
* Good fault-finding skills across general electrical systems
* Strong communication and the ability to manage your own workload
* A proactive approach to safety and maintenance
